EHC Tonight, Sept. 6th - NO CARPOOL

Please bring your lunch if you show up early, and a dish to share for later. We will eat dinner at 5:00 PM. There will also be a bonfire and worship time later that evening (around 7:30 PM).

Please also bring water, sun block, a towel, blanket, chair, layers (nights get cold), and stuff for games (foot ball, volley ball, etc.).

Famous 4th of July SF Hike!

You and your friends are invited to join us for a difficult but fantastic hike from Powell street to Sausalito Thursday July 4th!: we'll have dinner and watch the fireworks near Pier 39/Ghirardelli Square!

This 10 mile hike has steep hills, winding stairs and a good 5-6 hours of walking. We’ll go in stores, see the Emporium dome, peak into the cable-car house, get our free sample of Ghirardelli chocolate and watch cruise ships pass under our feet as we walk across the Golden Gate. Then we’ll ride a boat back while the sun sets and watch fireworks near the water in front of Ghirardelli Square. (Do not try to meet us after the hike for dinner and fireworks, the city will be absolute chaos for driving to Ghirardelli Square.)

Bart is still on strike, so we will not be meeting at the BART station!
When? Thursday 4th of July!

Where? Meeting Places and Times:
1. Kohl's Parking Lot: (seriously) pulling out of the lot at 8:30 AM
525 E. Hamilton Ave., Campbell CA

2. Driving into and out of the Page Mill Road Park-n-Ride at 8:45 AM.

3. We will drive directly to the 5th & Mission garage in the city: 833 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94103. Do not try to meet us here.

4. Powell Street: 10 AM Ultimate Meeting Place: we'll be getting lunch in the Wesfield Shopping Center's food court : meet outside of Bristol Farms by 10AM. You may either pack your own lunch or buy one at the food court. We'll take it to a park and eat at the park for lunch.

Beach Bon Fire June 29th!

You are invited to join Edwin and Christian's famous Beach Bonfire! You and your friends are invited to come spend the day and/or evening with us June 29th at Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz. By day you can play volleyball, swim, build a sand castle, read a book, or even take a nap. After dark we'll have a bonfire, make s'mores, sing and tell stories! Bring warm clothes for the evening, since it will get cold! We'll provide hot dogs, drinks and s'mores. Bring anything else you might like to have (see below)!

 Time? 5:00 PM - We'll be there all day, starting at 10 AM to reserve a pit

 Place? Seabright Beach in Santa Cruz - to the right of lifeguard station @2.

What to bring:
* Towel / blanket
* Sunglasses / sunblock / beach umbrella
* Swim clothes
* Your favorite beach toy(s) - Frisbee, kite, paddle ball, volleyball, soccer ball, sand castle tools
* Warm clothes (for evening) - Forecast high is 72, low is 53
* Your lunch if you come before lunch
* Snack / drink to share (optional)

Sushi Party!


You are invited to join us for a Sushi Party! We'll be meeting at Fiona's home on July 13th, Saturday. Let’s make your own Sushi (Hand Roll and Roll.) You cannot eat raw fish? Don’t worry. 
There will be cooked vegetables and beef which you can roll, too.
Traditional Japanese Miso-soup and dessert will be also served.
