Operation Christmas Child - Nov. 14th

Join us for an Operation Christmas Child packing party! We will pack shoe boxes with gifts we bring to send to children throughout the world in an effort to let them know there is a Savior who loves them. Once packed, we'll pray together that these gifts help bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to the children, families and communities who receive them. Boxes will be given to Samaritan's Purse for distribution.

What? Potluck, Packing and Prayer night
During the party, we will pack and wrap Christmas boxes, write a letter for each box, have dinner together and pray.

When? Sunday November 14th, 5 PM to 8 PM

What to Bring?

1. Empty shoe boxes or similar box with removable lid
2. Decide if your box is for a girl or a boy and their age category (2-4, 5-9 or 10-14). Then go buy new gifts that would create a fun, well rounded gift box. Suggestions Below.
3. $7 per box you would like to send for shipping
4. Food and Supplies according to the following schedule
   Last Names:

• A - F Veggies or Salad AND Scissors (we can borrow)
• G - M Drinks AND Wrapping Paper
• N - Q Main or Side Dish
• R - Z fruit or dessert AND Tape

small cars, balls, dolls, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yos, jump ropes, small Etch A Sketch®, toys that light up or make noise (with extra batteries), Slinky®, etc.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
pens, pencils and sharpener, crayons or markers, stamps and ink pad sets, writing pads or paper, solar calculators, coloring and picture books, etc.

HYGIENE ITEMS
toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar soap (in a plastic bag), comb, washcloth, etc.

OTHER
Hard candy and lollipops (please double bag all candy), mints, gum, T-shirts, socks, ball caps; sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewelry, watches, flashlights (with extra batteries)

A PERSONAL NOTE
In a separate envelope, you may enclose a note to the child and a photo of yourself or your family. (If you include your name and address, the child may write back.)
